Beatley Library has moved
Beatley Library moved into its newly renovated quarters on Monday, so of course I was there to take a few snaps, which I have put in a set in flickr - http://www.flickr.com/photos/candy-s/sets/72157600194113151/detail/.

Simmons' Clerk of the Works Al Saporetti was kind enough to escort me on a personal tour of the underground construction. Thanks to Senior Veep Lisa Chapnick for putting the steps in motion after I complained about not being able to update my construction site with anything new and interesting. If you want to see the rest of the photos, they are on flickr, where you can view them as a slideshow, or one at a time to see all the captions.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, we got steel beams over the construction site, and lots of activity. I put the latest photos in flickr here - they are arranged in chronological order, so scroll down to the last dozen or so. Or you could just run "View as slideshow" to see the whole thing from the beginning (125 photos to date), minus the captions.
I added about a dozen new photos to the Little Dig 3 site in flickr over the weekend. I chronicled the insertion of an LBE (load-bearing element), which was lots of fun. See http://www.flickr.com/photos/candy-s/sets/72157594168985567/. I see that Spinstah also has a cool group of photos of a big rebar cage going in - see http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=little%20dig%20rebar&w=18761417%40N00

Yesterday I watched a huge section of rebar being lowered into a 150-foot trench, and got most of it on film. See my construction set on flickr.
I am documenting the campus construction. If you want to follow along, you can find the photos in the Little Dig 3 set in my flickr space.
