I have been asked by Donna to remind you to make appointments before you go to the Archives. Not just for scanning, but for every reason. Do not show up in the Archives without an appointment. Thanks.
462 – wiki errors
I messed up the most important page of the moment when I was cleaning up the wiki, so if you went to Environmental Scan looking for the survey link, it has been restored. If anyone else is missing content, let me know. Sorry ’bout that.
462 – white paper deadline
The deadline for white papers is by the end of the day, November 12 (we don’t meet – it is ASIS&T week, but I will be online). White papers will be done by Descriptive Metadata (one on metadata schemes and one on subject access alternatives), Digitization, Evaluation and Usability, Intellectual Property, Marketing, and Preservation.

I rearranged the main wiki page, cleaned up some other stuff (long committee names), and gardened. In the process I managed to lose the part of the long names that said who the contact person was. Please, if your committee page member table does not explicitly identify the contact person, could you put it in. [...]

I moved (descriptive) metadata, which I didn’t get to last week, to this week, and moved some of the readings with it. Ditto copyright, to next week. There will be a brief committee meeting.

I have placed my personal copy of the book I showed you yesterday (Creating digital collections) on reserve , and have asked the library to order it. Also, there are now three copies of Reese and Banerjee on reserve, so that should help.
