Summary Description of Position:
The GSLIS West Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the GSLIS West program at Mount Holyoke College. This 21 hour/week exempt position provides academic support for GSLIS West students including advising and other student services. This position coordinates support for GSLIS West faculty in their teaching, classroom logistics, book orders, and special requests. This position represents GSLIS West to others, including pre-application prospects, organizations, and other interested parties. The position writes copy for GSLIS, College, and other publications and hosts information sessions.

Position Requirements: (Education and Experience)
MS in library and information science required.
A Simmons GSLIS alum preferred.
Office experience required.
Experience as a librarian, archivist, or information science professional preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Excellent problem solving skills in the academic environment.
Demonstrated familiarity with issues in libraries and library science.
