By , March 19, 2012 4:36 pm

The third annual PLL Summit will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 just prior to the American Association of Law Libraries Annual Meeting.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in law firm librarianship, then volunteer at the 2012 PLL Summit. In exchange for two hours of help working the registration desk and other miscellaneous activities, you will receive free admission to all Summit events (Summit workshops, breakfast and lunch). The number of volunteer slots is limited so please contact us to express your interest as soon as possible.

Details on the Summit can be found here: http://pllsummit.wordpress.com/2012-summit/. The PLL Summits address issues critical to the future of law librarians and law firms. As change agents, we must ask the questions which will help us understand the fundamental changes in the business and practice of law. What will information services look like in 2020 and what should we be doing now to advance that vision? How do we empower ourselves to drive information strategies, ensuring our own viability as information professionals? The keynote speaker will be Jordan Furlong of Edge International.

For details or to volunteer, please contact Abigail Ross at ross@khlaw.com OR 202/434-4148.
