Thomas College invites applications for the position of Information Resource Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Library Services, this person will focus on three key areas; instructional technology support, information literacy support, and supervision of several part-time student employees. This position typically works from mid-morning to evenings five days per week.

A college degree and a minimum of two years� experience are preferred. Extensive relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Moodle, online learning technologies, online library databases, audio/video equipment and Microsoft Windows/Office experience is helpful. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, training/education skills, information literacy skills and an attention to detail. Successful candidates should be able to display initiative and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a constantly changing environment with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
