Hello from the Chinatown Lantern! It?s been very exciting and busy since our public opening last month.

During most days of the week, we will have a program running and a steady flow of visitors coming to check out books, read the daily newspaper or use the laptops & tablets. Saturdays are really ?happening? with a lot of families coming in for storytelling, borrowing books and playing new activities and puzzles in the Children?s Corner.

With the Reading Room up & running, we are looking towards our beloved volunteers for some help!

-Rotating our book collection to add titles in demand
-Adding multi-media items to collection (audio tapes, CDs, DVDs, etc)
-Organizing our activities & games collection
-Running computer literacy workshops & other programs
-Staffing the circulation desk
