This is an opportunity for a GSLIS student to gain experience in a significant digital project. The intern will assist us with our Church Records Digital Project to make the records of 17th- and 18th-century Congregational church records accessible. The intern will engage in a variety of activities that make digital images accessible through our Church Records Project database and our website. Intern reports to Digital Projects Specialist.

Requirements:
Hands-on experience with digitization projects preferred
Familiarity with web-based text editing
Familiarity with metadata (TEI and/or Dublin Core preferred)
Ability to work independently and with others
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commitment of 3 to 4 hours per week for 3 months
