LISSA will be holding two general meetings, on Monday, October 29th at 12:30pm, and Tuesday, October 30th at 5:30pm. Both meetings will take place in the GSLIS lounge
These open meetings are held for the benefit of students, to voice any thoughts, queries, or comments.
A LISSA officer will be at both open meetings, along with delicious pizza for your chewing enjoyment. So come, eat, and chat with your peers.

The delightful and informative event - Coffee with Cloonan - is taking place Monday, 5:30 pm in the GSLIS lounge. This event is a great opportunity for the GSLIS community to get to know the Dean, and to ask any questions you may have been pondering.
So come on over to the lounge, drink some caffeinated beverages, eat some goodies, and schmooze with Dean Cloonan.

LISSA Boston and LISSA West will be co-hosting a bowl-off! Whoo-Hoo!
The event is taking place next Saturday, Nov. 3rd from 8:00 - 10:00 pm at Auburn Lanes. The cost is $12 per person for the 2 hour slot, for as many games as we can bowl.
We will be traveling to Auburn by carpool, so if you are interested in some bowling fun, have a car, and aren't afraid of Boston drivers, then email kohenc@simmons.edu. Also, please email kohenc@simmons.edu just to let us know if you plan on attending.
All of GSLIS is encouraged and invited to attend! So polish those bowling-balls, get out your special shirts and shoes, and lets knock down some pins!
