It also says "Dancing" in the bottom left-hand corner. Miss Ruby is handwritten on the invitation. It measures 13 cm wide by 9 cm high.

The envelope, addressed to Miss Olive Ruby, 86 Bellevue St., Boston Mass., is postmarked "Oneida, N.Y., May 24, 1913, 5 p.m.," and bears a red, two-cent stamp. The letter, dated "Oneida May 24, 1913," is written on the front and back of one page, and is hand-written. The invitation, to announce the wedding of Lois Aldrich to Harry Wellott, is printed in two parts on card stock in a cursive font. The envelope is approximately 16 cm wide by 9 cm tall. The page on which the letter is written is approximately 26 cm wide by 16.5 cm tall. The first part of the invitation is approximately 15 cm wide by 17 cm tall, while the second part is approximately 13 cm wide by 8 cm tall.
