In dark ink and traditional calligraphy it reads, "Wellesley College, The Memorial Chapel". The "W" in Wellesley is printed in red ink and highly stylized as in an illuminated manuscript. In the middle of the page in red ink is printed "Christmas Vespers." The data is listed at the very bottom in black ink, "Sunday Evening, December 10, 1911." This program folds out to a two pages. The page on the left is the service list, including the Organ Prelude, Processional, Antiphon, Invocation, Hymn, Anthem, Psalm, Gloria Patri, Scripture and Prayer. The page on the right lists the lyrics to two choir songs. This program is approximately 15 cm wide and 21 cm tall. |
