			Application for student's ticket, Museum of Fine Arts, 1912 This is an application for a student's ticket at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. It is printed on white paper with black ink. The application has three lines to be filled out: Name, Address, and Date. "Olive Ruby" is handwritten on the line beside Name; "Simmons College" is stamped on the line next to address; and "Nov. 27, 1912" is handwritten in the space provided for the date. A small circular hole has been punched in the bottom-center of the card. The application is approximately 13 cm wide by 8 cm tall.
			Certificate for a neat desk A blue card with a hole in the bottom for sorting in a drawer. The preprinted certificate card has O.C. Ruby written in to indicate that she has kept her desk in satisfactory order. The card was issued December 3, 1912. The certificate is approximately 9 cm tall and 14 cm wide.
			A fortune This two-line fortune is only partially legible. The first line reads, "... 's love is of man's life a thing apart," and the second line reads, "... woman's whole existence." It measures 1 cm tall by 7 cm wide.
			Handwritten card, “Olive Ruby Xmas 1912” A small, single faced card that reads “Olive Ruby, Xmas 1912.” The handwritten text is accompanied by a bust of a young Caucasian woman with short dark hair tied back with a pink scarf and a bouquet of flowers. The card may be a label, name tag, or similar item. The card is approximately 5 cm tall and 10 cm wide.
			Monogrammed initials, "O.R." A small piece of heavy card stock embossed, in gold, with the interlocking initials "O" and "R." Approximately 2 cm by 2 cm.
			Poem, "I like the type of woman" This is a piece of printed ephemera that resembles a Valentine and bears a love poem. It is illustrated with line drawings of figures and has hearts in the background.
			Simmons College "Wanted: a mile of pennies" penny holder This is a long strip of paper printed with blue and red inks that bears the words, "Wanted: A Mile of Pennies (in blue ink), Simmons College, Boston, Mass. (in red ink)." The middle of the strip of paper is occupied by a blue ruler with a series of penny-sized holes along its length. It is approximately 6 cm wide by 31 cm tall.
			Song lyrics A long rectangular piece of paper, approximately 23 cm wide and 4 cm tall, with the following song lyrics typed on it: "Tune,--I've been working on the Railroad./We've been working for a long time--Working ev'ry day/We've been working all our friends, to/Buy a ticket for the play./And you know we're very grateful--Lend a hand's all right/Can't you see we liked your songs,--And we're thinking of you tonight?"
			Telephone message A typed telephone message note. The outside says “Miss Olive C. Ruby. 10:45 --- 218”. The inside states “Telephone message for Miss Ruby. Please call Mr. Butler at Camb. 22482.” The note is approximately 14 cm tall when open and 9 cm wide. The note is folded lengthwise.
