This was the first library that I ever came to appreciate based on atmosphere and architecture, rather than on its collection alone. As an undergraduate student, I spent countless hours at Durick - tucking myself away in the quiet study areas, enjoying the ambiance, and marveling at the rounded walls that showcased the library's original barrel-shaped design. It is a beautiful place to learn, relax, and grow. My first library job was in the Archives Department at Durick!
