Who's Going?

Please indicate if you're looking for someone to room with, and either check back often or provide an email address. We should indicate our flight times so we can maybe coordinate rides, or just look for each other at the airport :)

  • Alison C.
  • Ben F.
  • Dave D.
  • Sally L. - Departing Logan at 1:35 on Saturday, Deparating Milwaukee at 1:50 on Wednesday.
  • Candy S.

  • Sheila D.

Need Volunteers

Simmons will have a table on which we will have brochures and such. I think it's Sunday to Wednesday. I would love to have volunteers who would be willing to spend an hour or so here and there, and to help bring some brochures with them when they travel to Milwaukee. If you would be willing to help, please add your name to this list and say (carry) or (staff) or both, and when you arrive. We can worry about schedule later.

  • Candy S. (carry, setup, and staff; arriving Saturday)
  • Terry P. (carry, staff, arriving Sunday afternoon)
  • Caryn A. (carry, staff, there for duration)
  • Sheila D. (carry, staff; arriving Sunday afternoon)
  • David D. (carry, staff; arriving Saturday evening)

Hotel & Airfare

Know of any tips or deals?

I'm staying at the conference hotel for $124/night (see the meeting page for the ASIS&T special rate). I've got an extra bed if anyone wants to go halvsies. --Florin 22:33, 19 August 2007 (EDT)

Other good deals include:

  • The Best Western Inn Towne Hotel is only two blocks away and starts at $72/night. It looks like they're full on Saturday, but free the rest of the week. I may stay there Sunday-Wednesday and at the Hyatt on Saturday, or at the Hyatt the whole time. Anyone interested in splitting? --Legore 15:22, 21 August 2007 (EDT)
I'm staying at the BestWestern for $60'ish (AARP rates, tee hee). I am told it is very nice - a hotel not a motel.--Schwartz 10:54, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
