Scope

Libraries
- Bull Run Library, http://bullrunlibrary.pbwiki.com/
- It appears as though an extremely devoted patron uses pbwiki tp rpovide all sorts of access mechanisms and library information for this library in Prince Williams County. Posts library programs, library resource information, as well as quite a few interesting news stories about both libraries and the internet. Overall, a nifty grassroots-style project. --Engel4 01:02, 30 July 2007 (EDT)
- Saint Joseph County Public Library, SJCPL Subject Guides, http://www.libraryforlife.org/subjectguides/index.php/Main_Page
- The librarians created subject guides as wikis. Only the librarians have the ability to edit, but any user can add comments to the discussion and suggestions are asked for. It provides richer results for certain subjects because there are links to community specific events and resources. Subject guides can be searched by browsing the list of guides, browsing guides by category or using a keyword search. The guide includes readers advisory services, links to help users start their own blogs, journals and scrapbooks. This endeavor doesn't come close to covering all subjects, but it is an interesting concept. --Wong4 16:28, 29 September 2006 (EDT)
