profile: "One of the issues that I am most passionate about - and that I am hoping to advance as LISSA president - is the transition of the student evaluation forms to an online platform (or at least for an electronic way of evaluating the results). Based on informal conversations with other students (and some members of GSLIS faculty), it can be said that there is a great deal of enthusiasm for this idea and I think the time has come to make a more concerted effort towards online tools for student course evaluations."

profile: As someone who hopes to be a children's librarian in a public library, the LISSA Vice-President position is a natural fit; it combines the fun of programming (EOS party) with the practicality of evaluation (student course evaluations). I enjoy working with GSLIS students and faculty and hope to improve the GSLIS experience for everyone. If I don't see you at school, I'll catch you at the next EOS party!

profile: Even though numbers and math have never been my passion, I have thus far enjoyed my role as LISSA Treasurer, because it has given me the opportunity to learn how to make and manage a budget, and it has also allowed me to meet more GSLIS students. While my professional goals are more geared toward becoming a research librarian in a large corporation, I know that this role as treasurer is helping me build other important and practical job skills that I can take just about anywhere.
