The Second Annual MSLA-SIG Student Conference
Save the date: Saturday, April 26th!
the conference will be held in the Simmons Main College Building. Stop by the registration table in the lobby to pick up your conference materials. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The first session starts at 10 a.m., and the last session ends around 2 p.m.
This year's theme is Getting the Word Out: Marketing the Library. We are excited to offer sessions on
- gaming
- bringing guest speakers into your library
- collaborating with teachers
- bookmaking
- using technology in the library
- the story behind the story of favorite children's books.
Sandy Kelly, MSLA President, will offer the keynote address.
This event is FREE to Simmons students and $5 for everyone else.

How to register:
- Download the registration form: Image:Registration.doc.
- Fill out page 1.
- Mail it to MSLA, c/o Elisabeth Zimmer, 15 Belmont St #1, Somerville, 02143. GSLIS students can also drop the form into Elisabeth Zimmer's folder in the student lounge.
Registration is FREE for Simmons students, $5 for everyone else (make your checks payable to Simmons College). Lunch will be included for everyone who registered by April 16th. We will accept registrations up to and including the day of the conference.
We need your help to make it happen!
Can you help us with registration? We need volunteers to check people in and direct them to the appropriate rooms.
