After Moving In:

After the keys were passed and the boxes moved, we realized there was a lot we wanted to do. After a room-by-room inventory, we had compiled a dream list of changes we'd make (after we won the Lottery), so we narrowed it down to the most practical and most important (to the structure and for our well-being).

Now What

Some of the items at the top of the possible list were the following:

• Replace carpet in the den
• Make enough changes in the kitchen so it didn't feel like all it was missing was the marching duck border (so, paint and stain or replace the cabinets)
• Paint the guest bedroom so it was no longer the pure white favored by asylums

For help, we went to our friends, family (who all had something to say about it), and to various websites to find out how to do it ourselves and how to add some style. We compiled some of our ideas for paint colors into a presentation and a webpage.
