About Me
I am originally from Long Island (Smithtown, which is nowhere near Great Neck, so no--I don't know your cousin from Great Neck) and majored in history at Barnard College in New York. I moved to the Boston area in 2004 because the Red Sox needed me.
I love living here, but there are some things I miss about New York City and Long Island:
- Real pizza (and bagels, too)
- 24-hour public transportation
- Robert Moses State Park and beaches in general
- WNYC
- Baseball games at Shea Stadium
- Diners
- The print edition of Newsday
