About Me

I am very excited to start GSLIS this fall. As is the case with many recent college graduates, I had NO idea what career path I wanted to pursue, so making the final decision has felt great, and I'm looking forward to starting my master's degree at Simmons. As a former history major who attended Skidmore College, I am glad to have settled into an intellectually challenging field that will combine my many interests. If you also enjoy history, you can read one of my many term papers. Some of my other interests include:

  • running
  • tennis
  • music (I've been playing the flute since age 9)
  • baking
  • yoga
  • travelling (or in my case, travelling more. Please view my meager list of places I've been )
  • Italian language and culture

Currently, I am working at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, in both the technical processing department as well as the archives. While I was considering doing the archives concentration at Simmons, I'm still not sure. I'm hoping my work through MIT will help me decide.
