Pool Ducks

A family of ducks took up residence in the community pool of Stonybrook Apartments in Greece, NY while I lived there during the summer of 2006. The community management had stopped cleaning the pool and treating it with chlorine (lovely, huh?), allowing it to get nice and green. A mother duck decided that it would be a nice and safe place to raise her young. It was a nice place for her but many of the residents were quite angry that they weren't able to use the pool...even when they already paid a fee for it!
