Hannah & I had a great "co-chairs" meeting this past Friday & talked about the schedule for the upcoming semester. The dates listed above are tentative, so if any one doesn't work with your schedule (especially the 1st SIR welcome/informational meeting), please email or call & let everyone know & a different date will be chosen.
We think we have great events scheduled, but we're always open to more suggestions =)
I am researching a possible speaker for this semester, a librarian at Harvard's Berkman Center for the Internet & Society, who works in international librarianship & copyright laws. I think it would be interesting if we could get her on campus.
Hi Jessica and Hannah (it's me, Helen) -- Thanks for your email and phone calls. You mentioned meeting again. Everything looks great! You mentioned meeting again soon. Would you be able to meet on this Friday after your class? Or maybe we could grab a quick meeting on Tuesday with Melissa? (Melissa mentioned in email that she's only on campus on Tuesdays.) --Helen 9/10
