SIR/PLG Event: Women as informed health consumers are catalysts for social change

From Simmons International Relations

Sally Whelan from the Boston Women's Health Book Collective will be speaking about the organization's project to adapt and translate Our Bodies, Our Selves (OBOS) for audiences all over the world. Since the first publication of Our Bodies, Our Selves in 1970, the BWHBC has been dedicated to producing materials that make accurate health and medical information available to women in a clear, practical format. The OBOS Global Translation/Adaptation Program works with womens' groups all over the world to make women's health information available and accessible.
