Risqué YA: Controversial Content in Young Adult Literature

On March 19th, 2009 Simmons hosted a reading and panel entitled Risqué Y.A. to celebrate the launch of Alisa Libby’s second novel, The King’s Rose. Alisa Libby is also the Simmons GSLIS Communications Assistant. She performed a brief reading from the book and then was joined on the panel by GSLIS Assistant Professors Amy Pattee and Melanie Kimball.
