MSLA Conference - Deborah Jordan - Bringing Guest Lecturers to the Library

Deborah Jordan graduated from Simmons in 1989 with a dual masters (LIS and Education). She worked one year at St. Mary’s High School in Lynn and then packed her bags for Hawaii. She worked in a combined public and high school library for 4 years on Oahu and moved to Maui, working for 3 years in “the oldest school west of the Rockies,” Lahainaluna High School. She moved back to New England in 1997 and worked at Mansfield High School for 6 years. She is now in her 5th year at Walpole High School. Her presentation on bringing guest lecturers to the library was given as part of the Massachusetts School Library Association Conference at Simmons College on April 26, 2008.
