2009 Advising Day for Summer GSLIS Students - Introduction

On April 8, 2009 Simmons GSLIS held their Advising Day for incoming GSLIS students beginning their program in June of 2009. Throughout the day several faculty members provided important information about the advising process, course offerings, and several campus services. Michelle Cloonan began the day with a brief talk on the importance of education on preservation of our cultural heritage in wake of the recent natural disaster in Italy.
