Alumni Day Spring 2009 - Introduction & Keynote Address "Being Bodley's Librarian"

On April 17, 2009 Simmons GSLIS hosted its Alumni Day, featuring a special afternoon program honoring the life of Professor Allen Smith. The morning started of with a welcome from Dean Michèle Cloonan, followed by an awards presentation honoring the 2009 GSLIS Alumni Achievement Award recipient Dr. Sarah Thomas, Class of 1973, Bodley’s librarian and director at Oxford University Library Services. Dr. Thomas then gave the keynote address on “Being Bodley’s Librarian.”
