- The LISTA Database
- This section describes the interface and basic search features of the database LISTA (Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts).
Overview of LISTA (Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts)
The indexing and abstracting tool LISTA was designed to promote the science, management and technology of information. It covers international literature in librarianship, information science and related disciplines.
- Format: citations and abstracts or summaries, and some HTML or PDF full-text articles
- Material indexed: journal articles, books, research, reports, proceedings, and patents
- Dates of coverage: 1966 - present
Accessing LISTA
LISTA, like LISA and Library Literature, is available through the Quicklist menu on the GSLIS Collection web page.
By default, you will be taken to the EBSCO's Advanced Search interface, with LISTA selected as the database to be searched. EBSCO offers several options for limiting your search, such as by document and publication type, number of pages, and whether or not references are available.

LISTA is also covered in the "Library Databases: Who is LISA anyway?" workshop that has been mentioned in this section. See http://gslis.simmons.edu/signup for available sessions.
