- Other Databases
- You will be searching many other databases for material outside of LIS. Here are some examples of search interfaces other than Wilson (Library Literature), CSA (LISA), and EBSCO (LISTA) you will encounter.
Education Abstracts & Full Text Journals (ProQuest)
Education Abstracts & Full Text Journals is especially useful for school librarians or those searching for information on teaching practices and theories. It covers all aspects of education. It also includes a few library and information science journals that are not included in Library Literature, LISA or LISTA.
WorldCat (OCLC)
WorldCat is useful for researchers, because in addition to helping you identify titles of books, journals or media on your topic, it also lists the libraries that hold those resources. It includes bibliographic information on millions of records cataloged by thousands of libraries across the world.
General Business File (Gale)
General Business File includes articles and book reviews on all aspects of buisness, including management. It includes news articles as well as scholarly articles on management theory.
