[edit] Highlights from Last Meeting

[edit] Oct 29, 2009

1. Candy needs a list of the orphaned pages from the pencil page number confusion. She will scan them

2. We're doing really well on the scanning schedule - lots of pages are done
Candy's Comments - By this time in past semesters, we were only half way if that
Note-taker's addition - So don't let Donna's grumbles get to you

3. If you have further updates to the page assignment spreadsheet, just upload a new version to the wiki so we can all see it. Image:462-PageAssignments.xls

4. Metadata is due next week (but really, the week after at the latest). Check instruction sheets for who to e-mail descriptive and preservation sheets to.

5. Comment (using Discussion pages) on Web's Wireframes and Sitemaps.
  • The three versions will be combined by the Web team, and submitted to Evaluation, to be tested using volunteers from the class as formal subjects

6. Marketing has initial logo and marketing ideas, including:
  • Daisie's hand-drawn daisy as a logo with Daisie's name in Photoshop "chalk" effect;
  • "Preview" web page, with a countdown (class suggested pulling off or putting on daisy petals)
  • Pins (badges) for us to wear around campus

7. John (and Katharine?) will be checking with Ben, Nathan and Jen Doyle to see what possible alias we could use, as a better URL, and possibly putting it on the GSLIS site as well as Simmons
