[edit] Meetings and Minutes
Sorry I forgot to mention in class this morning that there is a loose newspaper clipping between pages 20 and 21. it belongs with page 20.
There are loose clippings, paper clipped together, between between pages 84 and 85. These belong with page 84.
Also the Simmons College Poll of Classes in between pages 60 and 61 I will be scanning and it will go at the end of the scrapbook.
If you have any questions about page assignments please let me know.
[edit] Policies
Here a few brief suggestions for policies regarding objects in the scrapbook:
Cards and two sided items
For cards and two sided items, scan both sides if possible.
If corners of cards are glued and it does not open fully, only scan the cover and include information about the interior in the description of object.
For items that overlap scan page as whole and then individual item if possible, if not describe the covered section of the object.
Multipage items
If it is a Simmons item, already in the archive then scan cover. This would apply to Simmons College Handbook (p. 4) and Simmons College Bulletin (p.25)
If it is a unique item, like dance cards scan all pages.
If it a program for an event or organization, usually Simmons related, scan all pages. An example would be the Simmons Orientation program on pg. 7 or the University Lutheran Association program on pg. 11.
If it is a program for an event and more than 10 pages, just scan cover. This would include the Handel and Haydn Society programs.
